My favorite thing that I did this year in math was Shape project. I work with Liz on it. I like the shape project because I liked learning about shapes and tiles on my project and getting the pictures because they had a lot of patterns on it. I learned how to work on angles like a straight line is 180˚. If the angle goes all the way back to way it starts it will be 360˚or it makes a circle. Now I learned reflection symmetry is when you divide something and the other side of it is the same. I learned rotation symmetry it is when you turn something and it looks the same. I learned that if you add all of a triangle sides it equal 180˚. This could help me in my everyday life if I ever need to tile something I will know what shapes go together. Quadrilateral equal 360˚ if you add all the sides up. Next year I will like to do more geometry.
